I took a trip down to Hawick in the Scottish Borders to drop off ceramics for 'A Taste of Potfest' exhibition in the Scott Gallery at Hawick Museum this week. The exhibition opened on the 26th March and runs until the 29th May. It's a lovely gallery and the exhibition features the work of twenty potters who are showcasing work at the Potfest shows in the summer. It was an inspiring drive through the Borders, stopped to take many photos and managed a walk up the Grey Mare's tail too.....nice to be out of the studio!

I have been selected for three Ceramic Fairs this summer. The first fair of the season for me will be 'Earth and Fire' at Rufford Abbey Country Park, Nottingham from 24th-26th June. I'm particularly pleased to have been accepted into this show as has it proved difficult to get into. Next up after that will be Potfest in the Park, at Hutton-in -the-Forest, Penrith, 29th-31st July. I really enjoy this show as the organisers, Chris and Geoff Cox really look after us over the whole weekend. The standard of work is exceptional. Last up is a brand new show called Ceramic Wales from September 2nd-4th at North Wales School of Art and Design. I'm really looking forward to this show and engaging with a new audience.
